I grew up around music from an early age, taking piano lessons throughout my childhood and switching to trombone in middle school, which I played through high school in our schools marching band and top level of both orchestra and jazz band. While I loved performing like that, I knew it wasn't the direction I wanted to go with my career. That led me to the world of audio engineering. I received training through Recording Connection, learning at a small studio in Michigan that specialized in vintage gear and mobile recording for choirs and orchestras, where I eventually worked as assistant engineer for about a year. I later moved to Berkeley and studied at SAE Emeryville, where I solidified my existing technical foundation in a setting much closer to a major studio.
Outside of music, I enjoy spending my time playing pc games (specifically racing sims, strategy games like RTS and 4X titles, space sims, and FPS). Mass Effect is my favorite series and I'm a huge sucker for sci-fi media in general. I also enjoy motorsports and actively follow Indycar, F1, IMSA and MX-5 Cup. Currently, I am learning C++ in my spare time so that I can start developing my own plugins. I have a wonderful partner, Sky, whom I love and support. He's a very talented digital artist and you can check out his own page here!
